Understanding your ratings

Ratings reflect rider feedback on your trips. After each ride, riders can leave a star rating and select a reason for their feedback — helping you understand their experience.

How your rating is calculated

Your overall rating is an average of your last 50 ratings. A single high or low score won't define your average. Note that ratings don't update in real time.


Why ratings matter

Passengers can view your rating before and during a ride. Additionally, your platform access depends on your current rating.


Rating status

You can view your current rating status and exact thresholds in the Bolt Driver app under "Star rating".

  • All good — No action needed.
  • Needs attention — Your rating is approaching the minimum threshold.
  • Suspension risk — Consistently low ratings may lead to a temporary account block.
