Taxi License Requirements

To operate as a taxi driver, a license is now required. Apply through the AYNA portal with all necessary documents and a compliant vehicle.

License for taxi operations

From July 1, 2024, drivers must obtain a specific License or License Card to engage in taxi activities. After July 1, drivers will be able to obtain this License only for vehicles suitable for taxi activities, meeting the requirements of the Euro-5 environmental standard, and not older than 8 years.

Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN)
Technical service contract.
Individual drivers must contract with the maintenance service themselves (free of charge).
Contract with a medical center. Each driver must obtain a license from all state and (or) private clinics licensed by the Ministry of Health.
Driver training certificate (76 AZN)
Driver's license
Identity card
Power of attorney (if the vehicle is not in the driver's name)
Vehicle technical passport
