In 2025, Viggo was acquired by Bolt, and all user data from previous Viggo users is automatically transferred to the Bolt app. If you have questions about the migration, you can find answers in our FAQ.


  1. Will the Viggo app be shut down?
    Yes, the Viggo app will be shut down in June. After that, all rides must be booked via the Bolt app.
  2. Do I need to create a new account with Bolt, or can I use my Viggo login?
    You don't need to create a new account. If you had a Viggo account, your information has been transferred. You just need to log in again and add your preferred payment method in the Bolt app.
  3. What happens to my personal data?
    Your personal data such as name, email, and phone number have been securely transferred to Bolt as part of the migration.
  4. Has my trip history from Viggo been transferred to Bolt?
    No, your previous trip history from Viggo has not been transferred to the Bolt app.
  5. Do I need to enter my payment information again in the Bolt app?
    Yes, you need to add your preferred payment method when setting up your Bolt account.
  6. Can I still be assured of being driven in electric cars, as I was with Viggo?
    Yes, in the near future, only electric cars will be available. However, to ensure there are enough cars on the street to meet increasing demand and to maintain optimal balance, it may be necessary to supplement with non-electric cars.
  7. Is the Bolt app available in the same cities where I used Viggo?
    Yes, Bolt is available in the same cities where Viggo operated.
  8. I was previously a Viggo Business customer — what does this mean for me?
    If you used Viggo through a corporate account, you should be ready to continue using your corporate account via Bolt Business. If you do not see this option, please contact us at denmark@bolt-business.com.
  9. What happens to any ride credits, discount codes, or vouchers I had with Viggo?
    All ride credits, discount codes, and vouchers from Viggo will expire when the Viggo app is shut down. However, we will offer our customers discounts to try Bolt when we launch soon, so keep an eye out for offers in the Bolt app.
  10. Will prices and availability be the same in the Bolt app?

  11. Is this change permanent, or will Viggo return in the future?
