I want to know why a ride was refunded

In some cases, the ride or cancellation fee may be refunded to the rider which will affect your balance and earnings.

The full ride price may be refunded if:

  • The rider had to pay more than expected
  • Additional fees were applied incorrectly
    • Additional fees may include toll fees, parking fees, booking fees, long-distance fees and paid wait time fees
  • You didn’t start or end the trip correctly
  • Ride did not happen
  • You accepted cash from the rider for in-app payment
  • The ride ended far from the destination without the rider’s consent
  • You didn’t arrive at the exact pickup location where the ride was requested
  • There was a long pickup time which wasn’t caused by technical issues with the app
  • There were additional stops that weren’t requested by the rider.

Cancellation fee may also be refunded to the rider if:

  • You refused to complete the ride because of the payment method chosen by the rider
  • Rider chose Pet, Child or Wheelchair-accessible category and you refused to complete the ride.
