Covering the first and last mile of your trip

Attending events and conferences can involve a lot of planning — especially if you have to travel abroad.

As well as tickets for the event, you may also need to arrange flights, airport transfers, and accommodation. These priorities often overshadow the first and last mile — getting from your hotel to the event and back again.

On the morning of the event, you may have to find a taxi or take public transport. Either way, you’ll have to deal with expenses after the event — adding unnecessary stress to what should be a valuable experience.

“Event planners often manage every part of the customer experience except how their attendees get to and from the venue. Overlooking this often leaves attendees to source travel themselves and expense the costs back.”

Thanh Luu, Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager, Bolt Business

The Bolt Work Profile — a free feature in the Bolt app — removes the need to collect, scan, and upload travel receipts for your expense reports.

After your trip, a pre-filled travel receipt is sent to email address of your choice or automatically uploaded to your company’s expense management software. That means no paperwork, no lost receipts, and no hassle reporting expenses.
