Bolt Send Rules
- Delivery is not door-to-door — the recipient must pick up the package from the driver’s vehicle.
- Drivers are not responsible for loading or unloading packages.
- Packages must be well-packaged and clean for transport.
- Drivers may refuse or cancel delivery if the package is not compliant.
- If the package was not delivered and the order was marked as finished, drivers have up to 72 hours to contact us or deliver the package.
Prohibited Items
- Items over 15 kg or that do not fit in the driver’s vehicle
- Animals or human remains
- Cash, jewelry, gift cards, or other valuables
- Weapons, ammunition, or items for attack or defense
- Flammable, explosive, toxic, or radioactive materials
- Drugs or controlled substances
- Alcohol, tobacco, or food
- Stolen or fragile goods
- Items requiring special licenses or prescriptions
- Goods valued over 100,000 PYG
Communication and Contact
- Clients must inform the recipient in advance and ensure they are available to receive the package.
- Drivers and recipients can contact each other via the in-app chat or call feature during the delivery and up to 24 hours after the trip is completed.
- Drivers may contact the recipient if needed for the delivery.
- If the recipient is unavailable after 5 minutes, the driver may cancel and return the package.
Liability and Insurance
- Bolt is not responsible for material damage, traffic incidents, or lost/damaged packages.
- Bolt does not provide insurance for packages — clients must arrange their own if desired.
Other
- Clients must not use Bolt Send for illegal purposes (e.g., money laundering).
- Repeated misuse or fraudulent activity may result in account suspension.
