Bolt Send Rules

  • Delivery is not door-to-door — the recipient must pick up the package from the driver’s vehicle.
  • Drivers are not responsible for loading or unloading packages.
  • Packages must be well-packaged and clean for transport.
  • Drivers may refuse or cancel delivery if the package is not compliant.
  • If the package was not delivered and the order was marked as finished, drivers have up to 72 hours to contact us or deliver the package.

Prohibited Items

  • Items over 15 kg or that do not fit in the driver’s vehicle
  • Animals or human remains
  • Cash, jewelry, gift cards, or other valuables
  • Weapons, ammunition, or items for attack or defense
  • Flammable, explosive, toxic, or radioactive materials
  • Drugs or controlled substances
  • Alcohol, tobacco, or food
  • Stolen or fragile goods
  • Items requiring special licenses or prescriptions
  • Goods valued over 100,000 PYG

Communication and Contact

  • Clients must inform the recipient in advance and ensure they are available to receive the package.
  • Drivers and recipients can contact each other via the in-app chat or call feature during the delivery and up to 24 hours after the trip is completed.
  • Drivers may contact the recipient if needed for the delivery.
  • If the recipient is unavailable after 5 minutes, the driver may cancel and return the package.

Liability and Insurance

  • Bolt is not responsible for material damage, traffic incidents, or lost/damaged packages.
  • Bolt does not provide insurance for packages — clients must arrange their own if desired.

Other

  • Clients must not use Bolt Send for illegal purposes (e.g., money laundering).
  • Repeated misuse or fraudulent activity may result in account suspension.
