Cash Trips paused or How to Repay back Driver Debt

Cash orders may be temporarily paused if your balance in the Bolt Driver app reaches the negative limit shown in the app. If this happens, you’ll also receive in-app notifications as a reminder.

Cash orders: temporary suspension and reactivation

Cash orders may be temporarily paused if your balance in the Bolt Driver app reaches the negative limit shown in the app. If this happens, you’ll also receive in-app notifications as a reminder. This helps keep payments up to date, and prevents unpaid amounts from increasing.

Why cash orders are paused

On cash orders, the rider pays you directly. Bolt’s commission is then added to your in-app balance. If this commission is not paid, the outstanding amount can increase quickly. If cash orders are paused: -You can still receive card (Visa) trips -Cash trips remain unavailable until your balance is reduced or cleared Once the balance is paid, cash orders are reactivated.

How to reactivate cash orders

To restore access to cash orders, settle your outstanding balance using the STC Bank app

1. Open the STC Bank app, and make sure you’re logged in 2. Go to Company Payments 3. Select Bolt from the list 4. Enter the amount you want to pay (full or partial) 5. Enter the phone number linked to your Bolt Driver account 6. Confirm and complete the payment

After payment

Your payment will be reflected in the Bolt system shortly. Cash orders are automatically reactivated once your outstanding balance is cleared. Keeping your balance up to date helps ensure uninterrupted access to cash trips and a smoother driving experience.
