Our FAQs section for drivers provides answers to commonly asked questions related to driving and vehicle-related concerns.

Bolt Support is available 24/7 through the app.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions

To register, you’ll need:

-A national ID -A valid driving licence -Vehicle registration (Istimara) -Vehicle insurance -A 2016-or-newer vehicle

1.- Download the Bolt Driver app 2.- Follow the registration process

-Make sure you don’t already have an existing Bolt account -Ensure all documents are valid and up to date

Account management

  1. Go to Settings → Account → Driver Portal
  2. Update your details. A verification message will be sent to your previous phone number.

  1. Go to Settings → Vehicles → Add new vehicle
  2. Upload a clear photo of the vehicle registration document.

If approved, the vehicle will be added within 24 hours.

Go to Settings → Vehicles, then select the vehicle you want to use.

Go to Driver Preferences → Vehicle, then select the desired category.

  1. Go to Driver Preferences
  2. Disable Bolt, then enable Women.

If you can’t see the category, contact Support through the app.

Go to Settings → Account → Documents, and upload the required document.

  1. Upload the new photo under Settings → Account → Documents
  2. Contact Support through the app to activate it.

App issues and performance

First, check that all required documents are valid:

-National ID -Driving licence -Vehicle registration -Insurance -Periodic technical inspection

If everything is valid, contact support through the app.

Your performance is based on your most recent 100 trips. To improve it:

-Accept more trip requests -Avoid rejecting or ignoring requests within your selected pickup radius

Go to Settings → App settings → Auto-accept

Go to Driver Preferences → Pickup distance

Trips outside your selected radius do not affect your acceptance rate.

Airport Queue is available at:

-King Khalid International Airport – Riyadh -King Abdulaziz International Airport – Jeddah

You enter the queue automatically when you are inside the airport area.

Cash trips may be unavailable if you have an outstanding balance. Settle it through STC Bank.

Bill Payments → Companies → Bolt → Enter your registered phone number

Promotion rewards are added automatically once all eligibility criteria are met:

-Correct city -Required number of trips -Required time online -Required acceptance rate

Payments

Payouts are sent twice a week, if your balance is above 50 SAR:

-Balance on Saturday → Transfer submitted on Sunday -Balance on Tuesday → Transfer submitted on Wednesday

Go to Driver Portal → Options → Payments

Pay through STC Bank: Bill Payments → Companies → Bolt → Enter your registered phone number

Trips and trip Issues

No — Bolt covers the discount. You always receive the full fare after the trip ends.

Some prepaid trips may take 1–2 hours to appear. Check: Daily summary → Earnings → Details → In-app payments

After the trip, you can leave a low rating and add comments. You can also report the issue via the trip: Trips → Select the trip → Get help

If approved, compensation is typically added within 48 business hours.

Account deletion and general information

Before requesting deletion:

-Ensure you have no outstanding balance -Settle any due amount through STC Bank

Then submit an account deletion request through in-app support. Once deleted, the same account cannot be registered again.
