Scheduled Rides Explained

The Scheduled Rides feature enables riders to request a ride in advance, allowing them to plan their journey and arrive on time. These rides may offer higher earnings compared to standard rides, as prices are typically higher.

The Scheduled Rides feature enables riders to request a ride in advance, allowing them to plan their journey and arrive on time. These rides may offer higher earnings compared to standard rides, as prices are typically higher. Cash payments are not available for scheduled rides. All payments are completed through in-app payments.

How to accept a Scheduled Ride

Before going online, tap the New scheduled requests banner on the home screen. Alternatively, tap the menu icon (3 horizontal lines), then select Scheduled requests. If you have more than one scheduled request, a banner appears on the home screen prompting you to review them. Scroll through the available requests and tap Accept on the one that suits you. Your scheduled ride(s) will be listed under Menu > Scheduled requests > Accepted. For each ride, you can view the fixed price, scheduled time, and the time you need to be online.

How to Complete a Scheduled Ride

1. Go online Be online by the set time shown on Accepted trip to confirm availability. If you're not online by this time, the ride may be offered to another driver. 2. Receive requests From this point, you only receive requests that don't overlap with your scheduled ride and remain nearby. 3. Start driving Be mindful of your proximity to the pickup location. Tap Start driving on the home screen when you’re ready to head there. 4. Arrive Tap Arriving when you're at the pickup point. 5. Wait time Once you arrive, the rider has 5 minutes after the scheduled start time to come. NB The 5-minute wait time starts from the scheduled start of the ride. Any additional waiting time, including time spent waiting if you arrive early, is not compensated. 6. Start the Trip Tap Start the trip only after the rider has entered the vehicle.

How to cancel a scheduled ride

Scheduled rides are requested in advance, and riders rely on them to plan their journey. Please accept only those rides you intend to complete. If you need to cancel before driving to pickup is scheduled: -Find the relevant order in your Accepted orders view. -Tap Cancel. If you need to cancel after driving to pickup is scheduled: -Tap Start driving. -Tap Cancel. Repeated cancellation of scheduled rides may result in the feature becoming unavailable. If the rider does not arrive at pickup: -Wait at the pickup point until 10 minutes have passed from the scheduled start. -After this, tap Cancel. The cancellation fee is applied automatically. If the rider cancels less than one hour before the scheduled pickup, the cancellation fee is applied automatically and added to your earnings.
