Engineering Manager, Incentives
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and grow our Rides Campaigns and Bolt+ team in the Incentives group.

About the role
An Engineering Manager to lead the Rides Campaigns and Bolt+ team. You will work with amazing team members in a product-heavy environment on tools for our data analysts to achieve the company’s growth goals.
Your daily adventures will include:
- Leading a team of Software Engineers (team size 7-9 people)
- Growing an engineering team, participating in the hiring and interviewing process
- Helping the team to architecture and design Bolt’s growing systems, including our backend services (Node.js, Typescript, MySQL, Redis) and our frontend stack (Typescript, React)
- Contributing ideas and constructive feedback to our product development roadmap
- Sharing your knowledge and advocating for best practices in and outside of the team
- Leading features / initiatives from idea to successful launch and support
- Working closely with Product Managers, owning the delivery scope and ensuring the team does the best
About you:
- 2+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering
- You are experienced in the fast customer-feedback cycle and have empathy for the end-user
- You are great at making data-driven decisions
- You take ownership for the team to drive initiatives and features till the end, even if the last mile is the hardest
- You feel at home with microservice architecture and distributed systems, experienced in API design
- You have strong principles for writing clean, simple, secure, and maintainable code
- Strong English and communication skills
