Commerce
The Commerce platform enables the monetisation of Bolt’s business lines. Our domain includes all monetary transactions in the Bolt ecosystem. We serve customers and service providers (drivers, couriers) and process 9 zero amounts annually in close to real-time across several continents.
Our teams
The Payments team is responsible for enabling customers to pay via credit card, bank transfer, and alternative payment methods. We're also responsible for paying out earnings to service providers (couriers, providers, drivers) in a timely and trackable manner.
The Partner Payments team ensures our partners (couriers, providers, drivers) are paid on time. We manage various integrations for payouts via banks or other modern payment options.
The Fraud team is responsible for keeping Bolt’s system trustworthy, fraud-free, and cost-effective.
The Financial DWH team is responsible for building data models for Finance reporting and analytics, integrating data flows and processes with ERP and Finance accounting systems, and developing metrics, reports and dashboards on our BI platform.
The Billing team aims to provide a universal, common-purpose platform for any business line’s billing. We’re responsible for processing all monetary transactions through our systems, calculating earnings, and sending invoices. We’re a keystone team supporting our business lines — allowing them to expand to new markets. We also deal with taxation and fiscalisation topics.
The Balance team looks after everything connected to Bolt Balance, top-ups, and the booking system. We also own the global balance system infrastructure, meaning the data from different systems (couriers, providers, drivers) is in our system.
