On 5 March, we welcomed female drivers to a special event at our offices to introduce ‘Women4Women’—a new ride type designed to create a safer and more comfortable experience for both female drivers and riders.
Officially launched on March 8 in celebration of International Women’s Day, this initiative marks a significant step in empowering women in ride-hailing.
The event provided a fantastic opportunity for drivers to learn more about the new ride type, ask questions, share experiences, and voice any concerns about the platform. An open discussion fostered trust and community, ensuring that every attendee felt heard and valued.
We kicked off the evening with our Head of Operations presenting the details of ‘Women4Women’, followed by a Q&A session.
Next, a life coach took the floor, leading a discussion titled ‘Women4Women: working with pride and consciousness.’ She encouraged attendees to embrace their roles with confidence, reminding them that they’re not just ride-hailing drivers but providers of safety, reliability, and service.
She also touched on the power of mindset — choosing a positive attitude each day to uplift both themselves and their passengers. The session was so engaging and impactful that it felt like group therapy, creating a supportive and empowering atmosphere.
We wrapped up the evening with drinks, snacks, and great conversations, leaving everyone inspired and excited for what’s ahead.
Given the success of this gathering, we’re committed to hosting more events that bring women together, strengthening our community and ensuring that Bolt remains a platform that empowers female drivers.
