Beginner mode
Slow and steady to start. Until you complete 5 rides, your speed limit is capped at 15 km/h.
Helmets on
Wearing a helmet is strongly advised when riding an electric scooter, or a regular one.
Ride solo
One scooter, one rider. Bolt’s Tandem Riding Detection feature will know if you double up.
Ride sober
No drinking and riding. To unlock scooters at peak hours, you need to pass a cognitive reaction test.
