Introducing Bolt Spring Drivers of the Month

Become recognised as one of Bolt’s best drivers this spring

From the start of April to the end of June 2023, we’ll be tracking the number of trips you complete and monitoring your driver score

If you complete more than 100 trips and maintain a driver score in the top 10% of UK Bolt drivers, you’ll be entered into a draw where you could win one of three monthly prizes and be crowned ‘Bolt Driver of the Month’. 

Your eligible trip count will automatically reset to zero at the start of each month, giving you multiple chances to win £500.

Winners will be contacted and announced by the tenth day of each month.

How can you earn an extra £500?

Follow these easy steps:

  1. Make sure you’re signed up as a Bolt driver with an active account during the programme period;
  2. Start driving, complete 100 trips, and maintain a driver score in the top 10% of all UK Bolt drivers by 23:59 on the last day of each month;
  3. You’ll then be entered into a prize draw from which three winners will be randomly selected each month; 
  4. If your name is drawn, you’ll receive £500 and be crowned one of three Bolt Drivers of the Month.

Remember, you only need to complete roughly 25 trips per week and maintain a consistently high driver score to be eligible for the monthly prize drawing. 

Top tips for keeping your Driver Score high:

  • Arrive at your passenger’s pickup point in a timely and reasonable manner.
  • Don’t cancel your trip on your way to collect your passenger.
  • Be kind and courteous to your passengers.
  • Drive safely and ensure that your passenger is comfortable at all times.
  • Maintain a high rating and get positive feedback from your passengers.

Bolt Spring Driver of the Month FAQ

Question: How long is this promotion running for?

There are three months during which you could win a prize (based on eligibility) as a Bolt driver. Those are April, May, and June 2023.

Question: Do both my ‘trip count’ and my driver score reset at the start of each month?

Answer: Your trip count for eligibility will reset, but your driver score is based on the figure shown in your app at the month’s end. So you’ll want to maintain a high rating throughout the spring.

Question: I drove more trips than the winner and had a higher driver score — why didn’t I win?

Answer: Eligible drivers are entered into a prize draw each month. Therefore the driver with the highest number of trips and highest driver score doesn’t necessarily win. Maintaining a high trip count and rating makes you eligible for a £500 bonus each month, giving you multiple chances to win prizes.

Question: Is it possible to become ‘Bolt Driver of the Month’ more than once? 

Answer: Yes! You will be entered into each month’s prize draw if you meet the trip and rating criteria. However, you may only win once per month. 

Question: How will I know if I’ve won?

Answer: A representative from Bolt will contact you via email and phone. If we don’t hear back from you in 72 hours (three working days), your prize may be forfeited, and another winner may be selected.
