Bolt WAV is a wheelchair-accessible ride option which requires vehicles equipped with ramps or lifts.
To be eligible to use the WAV category on the Bolt platform, you must meet the following requirements:
- Have no commercial branding on your vehicle
- Your vehicle must have 4 doors and a minimum of 4 seats (excluding the driver)
- Vehicle must be equipped with:
- Ramp or lift
- Securement systems for wheelchairs
- Additional space for the rider and their assistive equipment
- Be able to assist in boarding the vehicle and securing the passengers
- Accommodate certified service animals
- Be prepared to allow extra time during boarding
- Complete the Bolt driver guidance in the app

- You can either be an owner-driver or use a hired vehicle. Please note that Bolt does not provide vehicles to drivers.
