Bolt’s internship programme returns to support the career development of women in Kenya
3 Mar 2022
In honour of International Women’s day, we’re supporting strong and ambitious women who choose to challenge the fact that the tech industry is a man’s world.
We’re excited to bring back our internship programme, designed to help women kick-start their careers and create a more equal and diverse tech future in Kenya.
For the second year running, we’re launching a month-long internship programme to help women in Kenya gain valuable work experience and fast-track their careers.
Last year’s programme proved successful in sparking interest in tech careers. We’re extremely proud of our interns — Rahma Halane is now an Operations Coordinator at Bolt, Onyekachukwu Orji landed a job in tech after the internship and Oluwakorede Oseni continued her studies as a software engineer, with some valuable experience under her belt.
Thanks to such great feedback, we’re again inviting 12 women to participate in the internship programme to gain skills in operations.
How to apply
The application process is easy — all you need to do is dedicate 10–15 minutes to answer 7 questions. We accept responses up until March 30th, 2022.
We’ll review all applications and contact the successful candidates in April.
The internship will run from May until June. It’s a paid internship, and you don’t need previous experience to apply — we all start somewhere.
