BOLT KENYA DRIVE FOR A PRIZE (“CAMPAIGN”)

1. CAMPAIGN ORGANISER

1.1. This campaign is run by Bolt Operations OÜ incorporated and registered in Estonia of registry code number 14532901 whose registered address is at Vana-Lõuna tn 15, 10134, Estonia (“Bolt”). Bolt and its holding or subsidiary companies are hereinafter jointly referred to as “Bolt Group”.

1.2. For general questions arising out of these terms of the campaign (“campaign T&Cs”) and/or related to this campaign, please contact Bolt at kenya@bolt.eu


2. GENERAL

2.1. The campaign will run from 00:00am EAT on 18th July 2025 ("Opening Date") to 23:59 pm EAT on 29th August 2025 ("Closing Date"). The period from the Opening Date to the Closing Date is hereinafter referred to as the “Campaign Period”.


3. ELIGIBILITY

3.1. All Bolt drivers who are residents of Kenya, have entered into an agreement with Bolt Operations OÜ (“Drivers”) for the use of Bolt Driver app (“Bolt Driver App”), who comply with the General Terms for Drivers available at https://bolt.eu/en-ke/legal/terms-for-drivers/?category=rides (”Driver Terms”), the campaign T&Cs and who will receive points (as defined below) in accordance with Clause 4.4, will automatically participate in the campaign.

3.2. The campaign shall be conducted under 3 categories to wit - (i) Car category ; (ii) Women-only category (iii) Motorbike - Boda category.

3.3. No entry fee shall apply to the campaign and no points will be awarded after the campaign Period.

3.4. The campaign is only open to residents in Kenya who are Drivers on the Bolt Driver App in Nairobi during the campaign Period, except:

3.4.1. employees of Bolt Group;

3.4.2. employees or agents or suppliers of Bolt Group, who are professionally connected with the campaign or its administration;

3.4.3. members of the immediate families or households of 3.4.1 and 3.4.2 above

3.5. The Drivers MUST be members of the Bolt Drivers in Kenya Facebook Group during the campaign Period;

3.6. Any fraudulent collection of points will result in the Driver’s immediate disqualification from the campaign. Bolt will determine fraudulent activities at its sole discretion. The decision of Bolt in determining fraudulent activities is final.

3.7. Any Drivers or trips in breach of Driver Terms will be disqualified.

3.8. Bolt reserves all rights to disqualify the Driver if their conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the campaign.


4. PRIZES AND WINNERS

4.1. Family holiday, shopping vouchers, fuel vouchers, helmets and branded merchandise will be awarded to Drivers who have won the most points in their categories and the Prizes will be in the following categories:

4.1.1. Car Category - Family Holiday, Shopping Vouchers, Fuel Vouchers, and Branded Merchandise, Tyres

4.1.2. Women-Only Category - Family Holiday, Shopping Vouchers, Fuel Vouchers, and Branded Merchandise

4.1.3. Motorbike - Boda category - Helmets, Shopping Vouchers, Fuel Vouchers, Smart phones, and Branded Merchandise

4.2. The prizes are as follows:

4.2.1. 2 drivers (from either Car category or Women’s category) will win the trip for a family of 4

4.2.2. 100 drivers (from Car, Boda, Women’s category) will win fuel vouchers

4.2.2.1. 45 vouchers for the Car category

4.2.2.2. 20 vouchers for the Boda category

4.2.2.3. 35 vouchers for the Women’s category

4.2.3. 100 drivers (from Car, Boda, Women’s category) will win shopping vouchers

4.2.3.1. 45 vouchers for the Car category

4.2.3.2. 20 vouchers for the Boda category

4.2.3.3. 35 vouchers for the Women’s category

4.2.4. 1 driver (from either Car category or Women’s category) will win a new set of tyres

4.2.5. 30 drivers from the Boda Category will receive helmets

4.2.6. 140 drivers (from Car, Boda, Women’s Category) will win assorted Bolt Merchandise Boxes at random

4.2.6.1. 50 for the car category

4.2.6.2. 40 for the boda category

4.2.6.3. 50 for the women category

4.3. The Winners shall receive a prize or combination of prizes based on their category as determined from time to time at the sole discretion of the Organizer (collectively together as “Prize”). After the Winner has proven eligibility, they will collaborate with the Organiser to decide on delivery and receipt of the applicable Prize.

4.4. The winners of the Prizes will be the Drivers who have gained the most points throughout the campaign Period (“Winners”). Points will be awarded based on the criteria below -

4.5. The Prizes may not be taken as cash. Bolt will arrange the purchase of the Prizes on behalf of the Winner.

4.6. The Prizes are all subject to availability. Bolt reserves the right to substitute the Prizes.

4.7. Bolt shall not be liable for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by the Vehicle. You accept financial responsibility for any fine or injury (and any associated expenses, including legal fees, relating thereto) connected with the Vehicle;

4.8. the Winners of the Prizes agrees to make themselves available, free of charge, for, as a minimum, one or more personal appearances totalling 4 hours (excluding travel time) before Each personal appearance will be at a mutually convenient location, jointly agreed by the parties.

4.9. The following additional terms are applicable to all Winners:

4.9.1. The Winners grant to Bolt the right to photograph/ record and use their name, likeness, image and/ or voice, including photograph, film and/or recording of the same (“Picture”) for 5 years from the start of the campaign Period in accordance with the campaign T&Cs. The Winners agree that Bolt may use the Picture for its website https://bolt.eu and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the campaign (including any outcome), and promoting any products or services offered by Bolt Group. The Winner agrees to grant Bolt a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the Picture for such purposes.

4.9.2. The Winners expressly agree that they are accepting the Prizes (and all other activities organised by Bolt in relation to the Prizes) entirely at his/her own sole risk. The Winners agree that Bolt shall not be liable for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by the Prize.

4.10. If a Winner objects to the campaign T&Cs, the Winner shall immediately contact Bolt via kenya@bolt.eu . In such circumstances, the Winner may be, at Bolt’s sole discretion, disqualified from entry to the campaign and any winnings forfeited.

4.11. The decision of Bolt regarding the Winners is final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.


5. CLAIMING THE PRIZE

5.1. Bolt will announce the weekly Prizes each week. We will contact the Winners of the weekly Prizes through the contact information the Winner has registered in the Bolt Driver App. Prizes will be awarded to the Winners on a date and at a location to be communicated by Bolt (the Awards Ceremony). If the Winners of the Prizes are unable to attend the Awards Ceremony, Bolt will make all reasonable efforts to contact the Winners, however if they cannot be contacted or are not available or have not claimed the Prize within 7 days of the Awards Ceremony, Bolt reserves the right to offer the applicable Prize to the next eligible entrant.

5.2. The Winners of the Prizes must personally attend the Awards Ceremony organised by Bolt to claim their Prizes. Bolt will notify the Winners of the Prizes of the date, time, and location of the Awards Ceremony at least 2 calendar days in advance. It is a condition of accepting the Prizes that the Winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form to be determined by Bolt in its absolute discretion.

5.3. The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on the Winner’s behalf.


6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

6.1. Nothing in these campaign T&Cs limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude and liability to the extent that it cannot be legally limited or excluded by law, for death or personal injury arising out of its negligence, and for losses suffered as a result of a party's fraud or fraudulent statement.

6.2. Subject to the limitations above, Bolt excludes from these campaign T&Cs: (a) all conditions, warranties and terms implied by statute, general law or custom; (b) all liability whether arising in tort (including without limitation negligence), contract or otherwise, for any personal injury or any other loss or damage (including without limitation loss of opportunity or loss of profits); (c) all liability whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the campaign, including, without limitation, the following: (i) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Bolt's control); (ii) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (iii) any entry or claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Bolt) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Bolt; (iv) any tax implications; (v) any variation in reward value to that stated in these campaign T&Cs; (vi) any tax liability incurred by a Winner.


7. Privacy

7.1. In the campaign, Bolt processes Participant personal data to determine and announce the Winner as well as to fulfil campaign conditions, including the additional terms under Clause 4.9 of the campaign T&C, pertaining to GDPR Art. 6.1 (b) and the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, Section 30.1 (b)(ii).

7.2. The personal data processed includes only the personal data of the Participant used for the purposes of the campaign, such as their name, contact details, picture.

7.3. Bolt may share Participant`s personal data with other entities within Bolt group, providers of online cloud storage services, and other essential IT services. In case Bolt receives a legal request from a public authority, it may also be obliged to share Participant’s personal data with them.

7.4. Where Bolt shares Participant`s data outside of the EU or EEA, such transfer of Participant`s personal data will take place only under an adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission or upon appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. 7.5. The Participant has a right to request access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing of personal data or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability. Where a Participant's personal data is processed on the basis of a consent, the Participant has a right to withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. In case of any unresolved privacy concerns, the Participant has the right to complain to a data protection authority.

7.6. To exercise the privacy rights above, the Participant can submit a request at: https://bolt.eu/en/privacy/data-subject/. The Participant may contact Bolt’s Data Protection Officer electronically at privacy@bolt.eu.

7.7. Bolt will use the Participant's personal data for the duration of the campaign or longer in accordance with the Clause 4.9 of the campaign T&Cs, if applicable. Where Clause 4.9 does not apply, the personal data will be deleted after 1 year from the beginning of the campaign Period, if not required for other purposes, as outlined in Bolt`s privacy notices. at: https://bolt.eu/en-ke/privacy/.


8. GENERAL

8.1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these campaign T&Cs, Bolt may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude a participant from participating in the campaign.

8.2. Bolt reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the campaign where it becomes necessary to do so.

8.3. These campaign T&Cs shall be governed by laws of Kenya, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
