Some rides may require a refundable security deposit to cover potential damage or fines.
How are deposits determined?
Deposits and their amounts are determined based on multiple factors, such as age, time of day, and vehicle model.
You’ll be notified about the deposit amount upon booking. You can also see the deposit details in the “My rides” section in the app menu.
When will my deposit be refunded?
If no fine or damage is caused, the deposit is fully returned to your original payment method. If a fine is charged, the amount will be deducted from your deposit, and the rest will be refunded.
You can find your deposit state and the capture time in the order details in “My rides” section.
When the capture time is over, we return your deposit right away. You should see the amount in your bank account immediately, but it could take up to 30 days, depending on how fast your bank processes transactions.
If the amount has not been released after 30 days, please contact your bank or financial institution.
Can one deposit be used for multiple rides?
Your deposit can cover additional rides if the new ride is booked within 3 days of the initial order. You can track the use of your deposit under the Payment details for each order.
