Driver Score and Professionalism Guide

This page explains how the Bolt driver score is calculated, what actions impact it, and how to maintain a high rating and platform access.

Driver Performance

What is the Driver Score?

The driver score summarizes your recent driving performance by analyzing your last 100 accepted trips. The score updates after every 3 completed trips. For example, if 95 out of your last 100 trips are rated as good, your driver score will be 95%.

The score is based on your last 100 accepted trips.
Updates after every 3 completed trips.
Only your actions and behavior affect your score.

What Lowers Your Driver Score?

Your driver score may decrease if you:

Accept a trip but cancel before arriving at the pickup address.
Mark arrival too early or too far from the pickup address.
Cancel at the pickup address without trying to contact the passenger.
Mark the trip as started before the passenger enters your car.
The passenger cancels because you are not heading toward the pickup address.
The passenger reports rude behavior, unsafe driving, or poor vehicle quality (e.g., dirty seats, bad smell).
Tips & Best Practices

How to Maintain a High Driver Score

Your score is only affected by actions under your control, so you have every opportunity to improve it. If you cannot start driving to the passenger immediately, do not accept the order. If you are unavailable, go offline to avoid negative impact on your score.

Always contact the passenger if you cannot reach the pickup address directly.
Contact the passenger if they do not show up.
Inform the passenger if you are delayed by traffic.
If you have car trouble, cancel the trip yourself and inform Customer Support.

Account Access and Professionalism

Your access to the Bolt platform may be restricted if there are signs of unwanted or dangerous behavior during your trips. If you believe your access was restricted unfairly, contact us. We will review your trips and respond within 30 days. To avoid losing access, always act professionally. Accepting a trip means you are committed to completing it.

Stay professional in all situations.
Only accept trips you can complete.
Your driver score will remain high if you follow these guidelines.
