Paris Getaway Sweepstake Terms and Conditions
Eligibility:
1.1 The "Paris Getaway" (the "Giveaway") is open to individuals who are legal residents of the Netherlands and are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.
1.2 Employees, officers, and representatives of Bolt Support Services NL B.V., its subsidiaries, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Giveaway.
Giveaway Period:
2.1 The Giveaway begins on Monday, February 12th, 2024, at 12:00 PM and ends on Sunday, March 10th, 2024, at 11:59 PM (the "Giveaway Period").
How to Enter:
3.1 To enter the Giveaway, participants must have or create a Bolt account during the Giveaway Period. The account must be verified with an email address by the end of the entry period. This requirement applies to both existing and new users of the Bolt app.
3.2 Additionally, participants must follow Bolt's Instagram page and tag at least one person in a comment under the post promoting this action, dated February 12, 2024.
Prize:
4.1 One (1) winner will receive a trip for up to two (2) people, including:
- Two (2) nights in Paris in a double room at Hotel Amour on Rue Navarin in Paris, or a comparable 4-star hotel selected by Bolt depending on price and availability.
- Bolt credits provided in promotional codes: Ride-hailing: €30 x 5 codes for use in Paris.
- Two (2) Eurostar train tickets from Amsterdam or any other major city in the Netherlands, in Economy class, subject to availability.
4.2 The prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or replaced with another prize.
4.3 The travel date must be arranged in agreement but must be booked and confirmed by March 31st, 2024. Changes and cancellations are not at the expense of Bolt. Day of Arrival is Friday and Day of Departure is Sunday, unless otherwise agreed.
Winner Selection and Winner's Obligations:
5.1 Winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.
5.2 The draw will take place on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
5.3 The winner will be notified within 1 day after the draw.
5.4 The winner will be contacted via direct message on the Instagram account used to participate in the Giveaway.
5.5 The winner has 24 hours after the announcement of their winning status and to accept the prize, by sending an email to netherlands@bolt.eu from the email address they use for their Bolt account. Failure to accept the prize within this period will result in Bolt selecting another winner after clause 5.1.
5.6 The winner must provide Bolt with the required personal information of themselves and their companion within ten (10) days of accepting the prize to confirm the travel dates in another email communication.
5.7 If the requirements of clause 5.6 cannot be met, Bolt reserves the right to select another winner in accordance with clause 5.1.
Unforeseen Circumstances and Terms
6.1 The winner agrees to provide a credit card to the accommodation provider in case of a deposit to cover any additional expenses, including purchases at the hotel and damage to hotel property.
6.2 In case of reservation cancellations, the Giveaway organizer is not responsible for associated costs or inconveniences.
6.3 Winners are responsible for obtaining the required visas and valid passports. Failure to obtain travel documents is the responsibility of the winners, and the organizer is not liable for associated costs or consequences.
6.4 Medical emergencies preventing a winner or companion from traveling will be handled on an individual basis, without responsibility for medical costs on behalf of the organizer.
6.5 Force majeure events may disrupt the event, and the organizer reserves the right to offer alternatives or reschedule the trip when it is safe and feasible.
6.6 Accommodation issues will be addressed by offering alternative accommodations of comparable value if available.
6.7 Lost or stolen property is not the responsibility of the organizer, and winners are encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance.
6.8 Weather-related disruptions may result in changes or cancellations of outdoor activities or excursions without compensation for winners.
6.9 Changes to the travel itinerary or prize components may occur due to unforeseen circumstances, without compensation for winners.
6.10 Disqualification of the winner due to rule violation or ineligibility will result in the selection of an alternative winner.
6.11 The winner agrees to share an Instagram story about their experience with Bolt services during their stay at the selected hotel and to tag the account @bolt_nl in this story. The winner agrees that Bolt may use this story on its social media channels.
Liability Waiver:
7.1 By participating in the Giveaway, participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bolt Support Services NL B.V., its subsidiaries, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of or in connection with the Giveaway or the awarded prize.
7.2 The participant acknowledges that Bolt is not a travel organizer and is not responsible for the execution of the trip or transportation. For all complaints such as, but not limited to, traffic delays, illness, or other interruptions or complete cancellation of the trip, the participant is responsible or should contact the respective service provider. The necessary information for this will be shared by Bolt with the winner.
Applicable Law:
8.1 The Giveaway is governed by and subject to the laws of the Netherlands.
Privacy:
9.1 Participant information may be collected and used in accordance with the privacy policy of Bolt Support Services NL B.V.
