Quickly and discreetly alert an emergency response team with our in-app Emergency Assist button. This will also notify our Safety team, who will make an immediate welfare call.

Bolt trip protection covers unexpected injuries, medical expenses, and hospital stays.
Driving shift limits
Compulsory driving shifts allow Bolt drivers to get sufficient rest and always stay fresh and alert at the wheel.
Share trip details
Send the car's make, model, registration number, and live location to friends or family via a shareable link. All trips are also tracked and recorded.

Safety Tools are activated in the app during every ride, allowing riders easy access to a number of options in case of emergencies.
GPS tracking of rides
All rides are GPS-tracked and their routes are recorded.
Collaboration with the police
We collaborate with law enforcement bodies on an ongoing basis. We have dedicated communication channels where police officers can obtain the required information.
Training for the police
We conduct training for police officers from all across Poland. Officers can learn not only about our safety tools and procedures but also how to successfully obtain information to efficiently handle any reported cases.
Collaboration with Feminoteka
Our collaboration with partner expert organization Feminoteka resulted in a series of safety training for drivers and training for our internal Customer Service teams on how to address safety-related reports. Feminoteka also offers psychological assistance to our passengers if required.

This functionality allows us to detect any unexpected & excessively long stops during rides.
Ride checks
When you request a ride, you will see your driver's photo, his/her rating, as well as the make and model of the car, its registration plate, and color. You will also get a push notification reminding you to make sure the car and driver's information aligns with the information provided in the app. If either the driver or car is not the same as in the app please report the inconsistency via the app.
Driver training
We conduct dedicated safety training for drivers to implement our community standards. Drivers have to pass a special test to be allowed to drive with Bolt.

After
Rate your driver honestly. Those who repeatedly receive low ratings will be banned.
Safety on two wheels
Beginner mode
We limit your scooter’s speed to 15 km/h, so that your first 5 rides are slow and steady.
Cognitive reaction test
Designed to reduce the number of users that decide to ride our scooters while intoxicated.
Tandem riding detection
A fully-patented feature that detects when more than one person is riding. Preventing this highly-risky activity.
