Bolt charges a 25% app fee on the total fare for each ride. The fee applies to cash-paid rides, rides paid through the app, and cancellation fees. It does not apply to tips, bonuses, airport entry fees, or cross-border surcharges.
In selected cities, the fee amount may vary for individual rides depending on current demand, driver availability, location, or time of day. On average, however, this fee amounts to around 25% of the gross fare.
The fee is charged automatically and deducted from weekly earnings. You can check the total amount in the Bolt Driver app under the Earnings tab.
