In South Africa since 2016

Since launching in Johannesburg in 2016, Bolt has leveraged its footprint and spread beyond ride-hailing, partnering with restaurants to launch Bolt Food in Cape Town and Johannesburg in 2021.

Taking things to the next level, and working hard to ensure customers get delicious meals delivered to their doorsteps.

This year in 2023 Bolt launched a six-month-long internship termed, Outternship to offer six selected female candidates an opportunity to kickstart their career in an exciting role, as a commitment to drive more participation and inclusion for women in technology.

Share a picture from 2023: Capture a moment from today, showing where you are now. Whether it’s the growth of your side hustle into a full-blown business, your friend group’s incredible glow-up, or any other accomplishment you’re proud of, we want to celebrate it!
Post on your IG feed using the hashtag #ARideThroughTime: Post both pictures (side by side or in a carousel) and use the hashtag #ARideThroughTime. This will help us find your posts and share in your journey.
