What is the #BoltGwijoChallenge?

Gwijo is more than just a chant – it’s a cultural movement that brings communities together through rhythm, energy, and spirit. The #BoltGwijoChallenge is a celebration of this uniquely South African tradition, where teams come together to create and perform their own original Gwijo—with a Bolt-inspired twist!

How to enter the #BoltGwijoChallenge

Over the next 10 weeks, join us and get the nation moving and grooving to your Gwijo. 

Here’s how:

1. Register Your Squad – Sign up at www.boltgwijo.co.za to get your unique Bolt code.
2. Create a Unique Gwijo – Your performance must include the word “Bolt” in the lyrics.
3. Post Your Video – Upload your Gwijo video to TikTok, tag @boltafrica, and use #BoltGwijoChallenge25 in your caption, along with your unique code.
4. Engage & Win – The top videos with the most likes, shares, and Bolt code usages will be crowned winners!
