Keep cities moving
Ucraina
We believe in the power of urban communities and do everything possible to keep cities moving, even in the most challenging times.
Bolt operates in 600+ cities worldwide, so we know how to adapt to different realities. But Ukrainian cities present a unique challenge. Solutions must address specific local conditions, including air raid alerts, curfews, power outages, and other challenges.
We're constantly looking for new ways to improve the quality of life in cities, considering each region's unique needs. So, in addition to ride-hailing, food delivery, and scooter rentals — which make everyday life more manageable — we’re implementing additional initiatives to support comfort and safety in Ukrainian cities.

Warm, comfortable playmats for children
One key initiative is our children’s playmat, inspired by the global project, The Little Big Playmat. As part of this, children reimagined the classic playmat, replacing roads and car parks with people-centred spaces full of green areas, bike lanes, and pedestrian zones.
We’ve adapted this mat even further for Ukrainian children, making it thicker and softer so that children can sit warmly and comfortably on the floor during alerts.
We’ve already provided 100 mats to children supported by the Tabletochki charity, with whom we have a long-standing partnership.

Reflective keychain fobs for additional visibility
During dark times, especially power outages, visibility on the streets is critical. To support our users' safety, we’ve created stylish reflective fobs that attach to backpacks, keyrings, or belts, enhancing low-light visibility.
Throughout November and December, various Bolt drivers will offer fobs to passengers at the end of their ride, helping you feel safer in the dark.

Sound-dampening boxes for generators at Bolt Food partner restaurants
Quiet is essential to urban comfort. With frequent generator use during power outages, we’re offering Bolt Food partner restaurants the chance to purchase special sound-dampening boxes to reduce the noise burden on cities. To make this easier, we’ll reimburse the purchase cost through discounts on your menu, covering up to the amount spent on the box. For reimbursement and compensation limits, please contact your account manager or the Bolt Food support team at ukraine-food@bolt.eu.
