Founder and CEO of Bolt

Markus launched the company in 2013 at the age of 19 after building the first version of the ride-hailing software himself and recruiting the company’s first 50 drivers in Tallinn. He is Europe’s youngest self-made billionaire and the youngest founder of a billion-dollar company.

Senior Vice President of Product

Juju joined Bolt in 2021. He is responsible for product management, design and analytics across Bolt’s five services, and leads the research, testing and launch of new products. Before joining Bolt, he was based in Dubai, launching and developing new verticals at noon.com.

Senior Vice President of Growth

Pavel joined Bolt in 2015 and has played a key role in the company’s rapid international expansion, helping scale operations worldwide. Today, he leads the growth analytics and marketing functions across all business verticals.

Senior Vice President of Rides

Paddy joined Bolt in 2020. He oversees Bolt’s ride-hailing operations worldwide, supporting riders and drivers with safe and reliable mobility options. Before Bolt, he served as Regional Manager for Africa at BIMA, a mobile-delivered health and insurance provider.

Vice President of Delivery

Jeremy joined Bolt in 2023 and oversees restaurant, grocery and retail delivery, as well as merchant products at Bolt Food. Before Bolt, he was an early employee at Deliveroo and held C-suite and leadership roles at several hospitality startups.

Vice President of Engineering

Toomas joined Bolt in 2019. He leads the company’s engineering and technology functions. Before joining Bolt, he was Founder and CTO of ZeroTurnaround, where he pioneered JVM technology to improve developer productivity.
