In some cases, the ride or cancellation fee may be refunded to the rider which will affect your balance and earnings.
The full ride price may be refunded if:
- The rider had to pay more than expected
- Additional fees were applied incorrectly
- Additional fees may include toll fees, parking fees, booking fees, long-distance fees and paid wait time fees
- You didn’t start or end the trip correctly
- Ride did not happen
- You accepted cash from the rider for in-app payment
- The ride ended far from the destination without the rider’s consent
- You didn’t arrive at the exact pickup location where the ride was requested
- There was a long pickup time which wasn’t caused by technical issues with the app
- There were additional stops that weren’t requested by the rider.
Cancellation fee may also be refunded to the rider if:
- You refused to complete the ride because of the payment method chosen by the rider
- Rider chose Pet, Child or Wheelchair-accessible category and you refused to complete the ride.
