To use Bolt Drive, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a B-category driving license
- Be at least 20 years old
- Have a minimum of 1 year of driving experience
Some vehicles may have additional age or driving experience requirements. If you do not meet these criteria, the vehicle will appear as locked on the map. Check the details on the vehicle page in the app before you reserve.
Vehicles may also be restricted during certain time periods based on your age. Some vehicles may not be available for booking if:
- It’s from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Friday to Saturday or Saturday to Sunday
- You’re under 25 years old
The restrictions don’t affect ongoing rides.
You will be notified about the requirements if you attempt to book a restricted vehicle and do not meet the necessary criteria. You can follow the recommendations in the app to either:
- Select a different vehicle on the map
- Wait until the time specified in the app, after which the vehicle will be available for booking
