Bolt Rides Categories

To join any ride type, your car must meet the requirements listed below.

To drive with Bolt, your vehicle must meet the following requirements: - Have a car insurance - Have a valid technical inspection - Have a vehicle card - Be a roadworthy vehicle - Be clean and in good condition - Have air conditioning - Have at least 4 doors and 4 passenger seats. Please Note: Cars with only 3 passenger seats will be accepted into basic category - Not have stickers from another transport platform. ​ For an easy reference to which categories your car is eligible for, check out the list of acceptable vehicle models. ​ Please also check the vehicle requirements for the categories available in Estonia below:

- Be in the compact car size class or bigger; - Have at least 4 seats; - Have at least 350l of car boot; Manufacture year: - 2013 or later (Tallinn); - 2011 or later (Tartu); - 2006 or later (Other cities).

- Be manufactured in 2006 or later - Have at least 3 seats

- Manufactured in 2012 or later; - Fully electric car; - Have at least 4 passenger seats.

- Manufactured in 2016 or later; - Sedan, SUV or minibus; - Special Bolt branding sticker for Premium category vehicles is allowed; - Full leather or alcántara seats; - All Premium category vehicles are also eligible for the Bolt and Comfort categories.

- In Tallinn and Tartu, manufactured in 2018 or later, but if the vehicle has full leather or alcántara seats, it can be manufactured in 2016 or later; - In Jõhvi, Narva, Pärnu, Viljandi, Rakvere, Haapsalu, Kuressaare, manufactured in 2013 or later; - Sedan, station wagon, SUV or minibus - Comfort category vehicles are also eligible for the Bolt category.

- Manufactured in 2018 or later - Cars manufactured in 2016–2017 with full leather or Alcantara seats are also acceptable - Sedan, station wagon, SUV, or minibus - If a fully electric vehicle meets the criteria for the Comfort category, it also does for the Comfort Electric

- Manufactured in 2011 or later - Minibus (e.g. Renault Trafic) - Have at least 6 passenger seats - Have sufficient space for luggage

- Manufactured in 2019 or later (exceptions may apply) - Sedan or SUV - Black colour is preferred, others will be reviewed individually - Acceptable models: - BMW series 5 or higher - Mercedes E class and higher - Audi A6 or higher - Volvo S90 and higher - Lexus RX450 and ES300 If your model is not on the list but has a similar class and you want to ride in this category, please contact us - No vehicle branding - Full leather or alcántara seats

- Meets Bolt category requirements - Equipped with a child booster seat that meets the requirements of ECE R44 / 04 or ECE R129 (i-Size) - The Booster seat is certified under ECE R44/04 and is categorized based on the child’s weight Booster seat meets the requirements of ECE R44 / 04 and is marked with Group II - It can transport children from 15 to 25 kg (approximately 3 to 7 years old) Booster seat meets the requirements of ECE R44 / 04 and is marked with Group III - It can transport children from 22 to 36 kg (for ages 6 and up) Booster seat meets the requirements of ECE R44 / 04 and is marked with Group II and Group III - It can transport children from 15 to 36 kg (for ages 6 and up) Booster seats certified under ECE R129 (i-Size) are categorized based on a child’s height. - The height should be at least 100 cm, and the age should start from around 4 years Make sure to get acquainted with the information about exact age, weight, and height limits depending on the booster seat markings. Passengers may contact you to clarify the details.

- In Tartu, manufactured in 2011 or later - In Kuressaare, manufactured in 2011 or later - In Tallinn, manufactured in 2013 or later - Have space for a folding wheelchair - The driver must pass a special training - Have at least 4 passenger seats - Be equipped with a child seat that meets the requirements of ECE R44 / 04 or ECE R129 (i-Size)
