To drive with Bolt, your vehicle must meet the following requirements:
- Have car insurance
- Have a valid technical inspection
- Have a vehicle card
- Be a roadworthy car
- Be clean and in good condition
- Have air conditioning/climate control
- Have at least 4 doors and 4 passenger seats
- Cars with only 3 passenger seats are accepted in the Basic category
- Not have stickers from another transport platform

Bolt
- In Tallinn, manufactured in 2013 or later
- In Tartu, manufactured in 2011 or later
- In Other cities, manufactured in 2006 or later
- Have at least 350l of car boot
Basic (Tallinn)
- Manufactured between 2006 and 2012
- Have at least 3 passenger seats
Electric
- Manufactured in 2012 or later
- Fully electric car
- Have at least 4 passenger seats
Premium (Tallinn and Tartu)
- Manufactured in 2016 or later
- Sedan, SUV, or minibus
- In the list of acceptable vehicle models ↗
- Special Bolt branding sticker for Premium category vehicles is allowed
- Full leather or alcántara seats
- All Premium category vehicles are also eligible for the Bolt and Comfort categories
Comfort
- In Tallinn and Tartu, manufactured in 2018 or later
- Vehicles with full leather or Alcantara seats are acceptable if manufactured in 2016
- In Jõhvi, Narva, Pärnu, Viljandi, Rakvere, Haapsalu, Kuressaare, manufactured in 2013 or later
- Sedan, station wagon, SUV, or minibus

- Comfort category vehicles are also eligible for the Bolt category
XL
- Manufactured in 2011 or later
- Minibus (e.g. Renault Trafic)
- Have at least 6 passenger seats
- Have sufficient space for luggage
Assist
- In Tartu, manufactured in 2011 or later
- In Kuressaare, manufactured in 2011 or later
- In Tallinn, manufactured in 2013 or later
- Have space for a folding wheelchair
- The driver must pass a special training
- Have at least 4 passenger seats
- Be equipped with a child seat that meets the requirements of ECE R44 / 04 or ECE R129 (i-Size)
Child Seat
- Meet Bolt category requirements
- Be equipped with a child seat that meets the requirements of ECE R44 / 04 or ECE R129 (i-Size)
Tesla (Tallinn)
- Only Tesla (electric) vehicles are accepted
- Have at least 4 passenger seats
- Acceptable vehicle models: Model S, Model 3, Model X and Model Y
