Bolt charges a commission on the final fare. The commission applies to card and cash rides, rides paid within the app, and cancellation fees.
Bolt's Commission:
- 25% per trip in the Helsinki metropolitan area
- 25% per trip in Turku and Tampere (with a 5% kickback applied from the previous week's gross earnings, resulting in an actual cost of 20%)
- 25% per trip in Oulu, Lahti, and Rovaniemi (with a 10% kickback applied from the previous week's gross earnings, resulting in an actual cost of 15%)
- 25% per trip in Jyväskylä and Vaasa (with a 20% kickback applied from the previous week's gross earnings, resulting in an actual cost of 5%)
The commission does not apply to tips, bonuses, or additional airport or toll fees.
The commission is calculated automatically and deducted from weekly earnings. The total commission deducted is shown in the Earnings section.
