If you have been blocked due to a failed identity check, you can request to be reinstated on the Bolt platform.
To request the reactivation of your Bolt account, please complete the Driver Reactivation Form, which is available when viewing this article on our website.
Once the reactivation request has been submitted correctly, a reactivation committee will analyse your file and provide you with an opinion within 30 days.
The reactivation request can be submitted as of the last day of the sixth month after the blocking date and for a period of 3 months. Any request must be submitted within 9 months as of the blocking date. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered.
Pursuant to our legal status of centrale de réservation, Bolt is subject to a number of legal obligations. For example, we are obligated to ensure that users are either passengers wishing to book a ride or legitimate VTC drivers registered on the Bolt platform with a valid VTC license.
Bolt is also obligated to comply with any judgment, court order, proceeding, injunction and more generally any request served on us by the competent authorities requesting the termination of a Driver account (for example, if you violate legal obligations and in particular when a ban on exercising the activity of VTC driver has been pronounced against you).
Bolt reserves the right to carefully evaluate your request for reactivation and in the event that it is refused (particularly in the case of an imperative reason preventing Bolt from granting your request), we will provide you with an explanation concerning the refusal to reactivate your account.
If your request is deemed admissible and valid, your Bolt account will be reactivated within the period indicated in a confirmation email and you will be able to use Bolt's services again.
