Required Documents
To register as a fleet owner, please provide the following:
- Profile Picture:
- A recent, clear photo of yourself.
- DVLA Plastic Driving Licence:
- Your valid UK driving licence.
- Proof of Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR):
- Any official document from HMRC showing your company name and UTR.
- VAT Registration Certificate:
- HMRC document that includes the company's name, address, and VAT registration number (when applicable)
- Business Bank Statement:
- The account must be a business account registered under the fleet’s name.
Fleet Driver and Vehicle Requirements
Each driver and vehicle in your fleet must have valid, up-to-date documentation.
Fleet drivers must provide the following:
- Profile Picture
- DVLA Driving Licence
- DVLA Check Code
- Private Hire Driver Licence
- Private Hire Driver Badge (required in certain cities)
Vehicle Documents Each fleet vehicle must have the following:
- Private Hire Vehicle Licence
- Insurance Certificate
- Must cover both the driver and the vehicle.
- Supporting document (if applicable): if the driver or the vehicle you wish to add is not named on the insurance certificate, you must upload a supporting document. We can only accept the following documents:
- A rental agreement issued by the company the driver rents your vehicle from
- A permission letter issued by the company or person whose vehicle the driver is using
- Driver or vehicle schedules (for vehicles insured under a rental company's fleet insurance policy)
Depending on your city, you may also need to submit:
- MOT Certificate
- V5C Logbook
- Vehicle Inspection Report
- Vehicle Safety Test
- Certificate of Compliance.
