Document Requirements
Each Bolt driver must provide the following documents in order to be considered to drive on the platform.

Clear Driver Profile Picture

Valid Drivers' License

Vehicle Insurance Certification Letter or Sticker

Roadworthiness Certificate Sticker
P.S. Ghana Card is not required but strongly recommended.

What must I do?
Collect all your documents before starting the process in order to avoid a possible back and forth.
If you have everything ready with you, it should take you less than 15 minutes to complete all details.
What are the communication details required?
We take email and phone number seriously. Make sure you provide correct and reliable phone number and email address so that we can reach you.
How long will it take to review?
If you have submitted all the required documents, the team will review your application within a few hours.
If any document is accepted or declined, you will get a notification.
Where can I view my uploaded documents?
You can find everything in the "Documents" section of the Driver Portal.
Are payment details necessary?
Yes! Fill in your mobile money wallet where you want to receive payments.
Your MoMo number always starts with +233.
How much does it cost?
Opening a Bolt Driver Account is free of charge.

Activation
Your registration will be processed as soon as possible. You will receive an SMS with a link to create password or log into your account.
You are encouraged to take your first trip within 48 hours. If you signed up in the wrong city, please let us know in-app and we will change it for you.
Training/Guidance
Before taking your first trip, you will be required to review important information on "How to use the Bolt App".
It is important that you complete and understand this information before you take a trip. If you require additional support, please visit the Bolt Office on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 am.
