Required documents to become a Bolt Driver in Ghana

Each Bolt driver must provide the following documents in order to be considered to drive on the platform.

Valid Drivers' License
Vehicle Insurance Certification Letter or Sticker
Roadworthiness Certificate Sticker
Ghana Card is not required but strongly recommended.

Frequently asked questions about becoming a Bolt Driver

Collect all your documents before starting the process in order to avoid a possible back and forth. If you have everything ready with you, it should take you less than 15 minutes to complete all details.

Activation

Your registration will be processed as soon as possible. You will receive an SMS with a link to create password or log into your account. ​ You are encouraged to take your first trip within 48 hours. If you signed up in the wrong city, please let us know in-app and we will change it for you.

Training / Guidance

Before taking your first trip, you will be required to review important information on "How to use the Bolt App". It is important that you complete and understand this information before you take a trip. If you require additional support, please visit the Bolt Office on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 am.
