Lithuanian language requirements

Starting from January 1, 2026, individuals providing services to clients while working in Lithuania will be required to have basic Lithuanian language knowledge (A1–A2 level). At the moment, final details of the law’s implementation are still pending, but we strongly recommend starting to learn Lithuanian now and preparing for the mandatory Lithuanian language exam, which will become a requirement for all individuals providing services in Lithuania. Please note that this change applies not only to Bolt drivers or couriers, but to all foreign citizens providing services in Lithuania. Good luck with your studies!
