Bolt Send Valentine’s Day Campaign Giveaway — Special Terms and Conditions
These Special Terms and Conditions (“STCs”) are intended to govern participation in the “Bolt Send Valentine's Campaign” Giveaway (hereinafter referred to as the “Giveaway” and further described below) promoted by Bolt for the participation of Passengers (the “Participants”).
Participation in the Giveaway is subject to these STCs and supplemented by our Terms and Conditions available at https://bolt.eu/en-mt/legal/ ↗ Participants accept that these Terms and Conditions are legally binding.
1. The Giveaway
1.1. This Giveaway is only available in Malta and will run from 10 February to 13 February 2025 (the “Giveaway Period”). The eligibility requirements for the Giveaway are outlined in clause 3 of these STCs.

2. Definition
Bolt — refers to Bolt Operations OÜ, a private limited company incorporated and registered under the laws of the Republic of Estonia (Company Registration Number 14532901), whose registered office is located at Vana-Lõuna tn 15, Tallinn 10134, Estonia.
Bolt Platform — refers to technology connecting Passengers with Drivers to help them move around cities more efficiently.
End Date — means on the day or shortly after the Giveaway completion.
Participant — is an eligible Passenger referred to in these definitions and described in clause 3.
Prize — one lucky Winner will receive €100 in Bolt ride credit and a dining experience for 2 GUESTS at the Golden Fork Malta, valued at up to €150.
Giveaway Period — this Giveaway is only available in Malta and will run from 10 February to 13 February 2025 (the “Giveaway Period”).
STCs — refers to the Special Terms and Conditions in this document.
Winner — there will be 1 Winner in total, who will be the Participant who has fulfilled the criteria in clause 3 and has been selected by Bolt.
3. Participants in the Giveaway
3.1. All Participants who meet the eligibility requirements described below will automatically be included in the Giveaway and shall be considered as a “Participant”.
3.2. All Participants must:
3.2.1. Follow @bolt_mt, @thegoldenforkmt & @chefletiziavella on Instagram
3.2.2. Like and share the giveaway post on their Instagram Story.
3.2.3 Tag the person they’d like to share this dinner with in the comment section of the giveaway post on the bolt_mt Instagram page.
3.3. Bolt reserves the right to refuse participation in the Giveaway to:
3.3.1. any Participant who does not comply with these STCs or our Additional Terms;
3.3.2. any Participant who has previously violated our Additional Terms;
3.3.3. any Participant who engages in fraudulent activity or gives rise to suspicion of fraudulent activity on the Bolt Platform.
3.3.4. any Participant whose conduct is contrary to the spirit or intent of the Giveaway.
4. How to enter
4.1. All Participants will automatically be entered into the Giveaway provided they have complied with the eligibility criteria set out in clause 3.
4.2. Bolt does not accept any liability for Participants’ entries that are not successfully recorded or completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware, software failure, satellite network, or server failure of any kind.
5. Winner
5.1. During the Giveaway Period, there will be 1 Winner in total selected by Bolt.
5.2. Bolt will choose 1 Winner from the Participant Pool in the comments section at random.
6. Prize
6.1. The Prize awarded to the Winner is outlined in the definitions section of these STCs.
6.2. The Prize for the Winner is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
6.3. The Prizes cannot be exchanged and are not transferable.
7. How the Winner will be notified
7.1. The Winner will be notified that they have won. We aim to notify the Winner as soon as reasonably possible after the closing date. The Winner will be contacted by Instagram direct message.
7.2. The Winner has 1 business day to accept the Prize. If the Winner cannot be contacted, the Prize is rejected, or if the Winner is subsequently found to be ineligible for a Prize, they will be disqualified. Bolt reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from the Winner. If the Prize is withdrawn, a replacement Participant who meets the criteria in clause 3 will be selected.
7.3. Bolt’s decisions regarding any aspect of the Giveaway are final and binding.
8. How the Prizes will be awarded
8.1. Once the Winner has been successfully contacted and their identity has been verified by us, we will send the Participant the Prize.
8.2. The Winner will be announced in a post and tagged in an Instagram Story. By taking any steps in clause 3, the Winner agrees that we can use their name and/or image in any post relating to this Giveaway.
9. Personal data and publicity
9.1. Bolt will process Participants’ personal data for the purpose of this Giveaway in accordance with Bolt’s Privacy Policy (available here ↗).
9.2. By accepting the Prize, the Winner consents to the Giveaway Terms and Conditions and Bolt publishing or making available their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph and video recording of the same) and country on Bolt’s website and any other marketing channels, including social media channels and newsletters. Bolt may be required to provide the Winner’s information and winning entry to a regulatory authority on request. It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form to be determined by Bolt in its absolute discretion.
10. General Conditions
10.1. The Giveaway will be run by Bolt.
10.2. Bolt is not affiliated with Instagram in any way. Bolt is not responsible for any claims, direct or indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way from the actions, products, or services of Instagram.
10.3. Bolt does not accept any claim relating to the selection of the Winner nor any liability, direct or indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way from the Giveaway.
10.4. The interpretation of these STCs and Additional Terms rests exclusively with Bolt. Bolt reserves the right at its sole discretion to amend such terms from time to time.
10.5. Bolt further reserves the right to change, limit, or terminate the Giveaway at any time without notice at its sole discretion.
10.6. As far as it is permitted by law, Bolt, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Bolt, its agents, distributors, or that of its employees. In particular, Bolt won’t be liable for any obligation the participants have in respect of any events beyond its reasonable control, any tax implications or liabilities of any Prize Winner.
10.7. Any Participant who enters the Giveaway will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions upon entry into the Giveaway or if they take any steps to claim a Prize or otherwise participate in the Giveaway.
10.8. Bolt reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
10.9. Bolt reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Giveaway where it becomes necessary to do so.
11. Applicable legislation and resolution
11.1. In the event that any of the provisions of these STCs are found to be totally or partially ineffective, this decision will not affect the validity of the remaining parts of these STCs and Additional Terms.
11.2. Any dispute that may arise in relation to these STCs, Additional Terms and the Giveaway, whether concerning their existence, validity, interpretation, performance, breach, termination or other matters, shall be resolved through negotiations.
11.3. These STCs will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malta, and the parties will submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malta.
