2013: the birth of Bolt

In 2013, Bolt was founded with a vision to make urban transport more accessible and convenient.

Little did we know that this vision would lead to a revolution in Nigeria’s transport sector.

2016: the Nigeria debut

In 2016, we officially launched in Nigeria, offering a fresh alternative to traditional taxi services.

Our commitment to affordability, safety, and reliability quickly resonated with Nigerian riders and drivers alike. Over the years, we’ve connected people and places like never before, from Lagos to Port Harcourt and from Abuja to Benin.
