Bolt Driver Rewards Program

At Bolt, we support and reward drivers with a variety of perks and reward programmes in Nigeria. These include Flexicare (health insurance for our most active drivers), ride-hailing insurance on every ride, bonuses and much more.

But now, we’re adding a new perk to our rewards programme — Bolt Fuel Rewards!

Introducing Bolt Fuel Rewards

In partnership with Total NG, Bolt Fuel Rewards gives eligible drivers Total Cards which can be used to purchase fuel and other products in participating fuel stations (all Total Fuel Stations in Nigeria).

Total Nigeria has over 570 fuel stations across the country and the reward is open to all top drivers (determined by the market) in specific cities.

How does the Total Card work?

The Total Card is a pay-as-you-go eFuel Card and rechargeable eWallet which equals the same amount as the Naira.

You can visit the Total Card website to get further information here.

Where can drivers earn the reward?

The programme launched in 12 Bolt cities across Nigeria in January 2021 and will be expanding to at least 23 cities by December 2021.

Who’s eligible?

The top drivers on the Bolt platform in cities where the programme is active will be eligible.

The focus of this initiative is to reward drivers with additional perks that add value and allow them to drive and earn more.

Other benefits that come with the Total fuel reward package include:

  • A 30% discount on jet washes at selected Total stations
  • Free AA rescue to the closest Total station for 3 vehicles per year in PHC, Abuja, and Lagos.

The fuel reward is only offered to drivers who meet the top driver requirements for their city in a given month. This is through a lottery system, giving different drivers the opportunity to take part in the reward during the year.

To qualify, driver partners must complete a minimum number of trips each month to win a Total Fuel card via a monthly raffle draw.

Key Information

  • Driver ID/reference number will be used as identification
  • Drivers will either receive new cards or will have their existing cards topped up.
  • Drivers can visit the Bolt office in their city to pick up their eFuel cards.
