Create a Family Profile to pay for your loved ones’ rides, without having to book them yourself.
No more ordering on their behalf, sending screenshots, or hoping they find their driver. With Family Profiles, you can settle the bill for their trips, manage spending, and monitor ongoing rides they order on their own.
What you can do with Family Profiles
Family Profiles give your loved ones a single payment method for all their rides. Once invited, they simply select Family Profile as their payment method. Once they do, you can then see their ride history to track spending, or follow ongoing trips to stay close until they arrive.

How to set it up
Setting up Family Profiles is free and simple. Just follow these steps:
- Open the Bolt app and go to ‘Payment’.
- Tap ‘Create Family Profile’.
- Choose your payment method
- Set optional spending limits for each member
- Send an invite link to up to 9 people
And you’re all set. All Family Profile members can now request rides, while you cover the cost and get real-time ride updates.Keep an eye on the app, and make sure it’s updated, to see if Family Profiles are available in your city.
