Driving License Translation

Costs may vary per city. On average it costs PLN 100.50

Approximately 1-3 months from the day that the office receives confirmation of the data from your foreign driving license and payment confirmation, the driving license will be ready for collection. Confirming your data may take up to several weeks. It is good to start early.

Criminal record

Criminal record checks (CRC) is a documented record of an individual's criminal convictions and pending cases, thus an important part of the Bolt Driver Registration process. The CRC serves as a valuable tool to verify a driver’s identity and assess past involvement in any criminal activities: misdemeanours, arrests, pending court cases, felonies, convictions, active warrants, incarceration and even traffic violations.

If the applicant has not been convicted in the past, the certificate will bear the annotation "Not listed in the National Criminal Register".

A criminal record could exist for any of the following convictions, although not limited to:

  • Driving while drunk or intoxicated
  • Driving while license has been suspended
  • Possession of controlled substances e.g. drugs
  • Evading arrest/detention
  • Assault
  • Theft

Expungement of a criminal record is an opportunity to have your conviction removed from the National Criminal Register and obtain a certificate of no criminal record. It can occur automatically after a certain period of time or at the request of the person who meets certain conditions. The detailed rules are set out in Article 107 of the Polish Criminal Code.
