Information about DineOut

With DineOut, you can accept dine-in payments directly through the Bolt Food app.

You can also create special offers and discounts for the customers via the DineOut feature

Setting up campaigns

  • You can create and remove DineoOut lunch offers or set menus yourself via Provider Portal
  • You can’t create or remove DineOut discounts yourself.
  • If you’d like to set up or change DineOut discounts, or you have an issue with creating or removing lunch offers and set menus, please contact your Account Manager. If you don’t have one, reach out to Support for assistance.

Fees

  • Your exact fee is defined in your agreement with Bolt Food.
  • If you’d like to discuss or review your fees, contact your Account Manager. If you don’t have one, reach out to Support for assistance.

Payments

When a customer pays via the Bolt Food app, you’ll see the payment in the Bolt DineOut Merchant app or Waiter web page. Use the Transaction ID shared by the customer to match the payment. If you don’t see the payment:

  • Refresh the DineOut Merchant app.
  • Ask the customer to refresh their Bolt Food app.
  • If it’s still missing, ask the customer to pay via an alternative payment method.
  • Contact Support and provide the transaction ID details so that we can issue a refund to the user.

Payouts

You’ll receive weekly payouts for all DineOut transactions directly to your registered bank account, unless you have different terms in your agreement. If you want to discuss the payout timeline, contact your Account Manager. If you don’t have one, reach out to Support for assistance.


Incorrect payment amounts

  • If the customer paid more or paid twice:

    • Contact Support and share the Transaction ID.
    • The overpaid amount will be refunded to the customer.
  • If the customer paid less:

    • Inform the customer about the remaining balance.
    • The customer must make an additional payment via the Bolt Food app.
    • Bolt is not able to process or collect any remaining balance from the customer on your behalf.
