There are three main ways to collaborate with Bolt as a driver or fleet owner. Choose the option that best fits your needs and business goals.

According to current legislation, specific authorizations and documents are required to carry out alternative transport activities with Bolt.

To become a Bolt driver-partner within an existing fleet, access the list of partner fleets and choose one to collaborate with. The fleet will assist you in obtaining all necessary documents and guide you through each step of the process.

To become a Bolt driver-partner, you must provide several documents to ensure you meet all legal and platform requirements. Below is a checklist of what you need.

Travel accident insurance provides financial protection if you are involved in a road accident while driving. It covers medical expenses, bodily injury, and other costs related to an accident. Make sure to review your policy for specific terms and exclusions.

Upload a clear portrait photo with a broad smile and your face fully visible. Avoid wearing sunglasses, hats, or using group photos.

If you register as a driver partner with your own company, you must also register on the Bolt fleet portal.

To register your own PFA (Sole Proprietorship), SRL (Limited Liability Company), Individual Enterprise, or Family Enterprise as a Bolt partner fleet, you need to provide several key documents. Choose the business structure that best fits your needs.

After setting up your business, you must obtain an intra-community VAT number. This is required to provide services to the Bolt platform, which is an EU-based legal entity. Even if your business is not VAT-registered, you still need this document to receive payments.

This certificate is essential for obtaining the alternative transport authorization. At least one driver in your fleet must hold this certificate. Without it, the Romanian Road Authority (ARR) will not issue the alternative transport authorization.

You need an alternative transport authorization issued by the ARR territorial agency in the city where you want to operate. This authorization is issued to your company and proves you are operating legally.

A Bolt partner fleet is a company that can have multiple drivers working for it. You can start as the only active driver and add other partner drivers to your company in the future as your business grows.
