Campaign Terms and Conditions

  1. 1. General   
  1. 1.1. Bolt Operations OÜ, address Vana-Lõuna tn 15, 10134, Tallinn, Estonia, registry code 14532901 (Bolt) is the organiser of the Campaign “Banca Transilvania discounts” (Campaign).
  2. 1.2. BANCA TRANSILVANIA S.A., headquartered in Cluj-Napoca, Calea Dorobanților, no. 30–36, registered with the Cluj Trade Register under no. J1993004155124, tax identification number (CUI) RO 5022670 (Banca Transilvania) is the authorized payment processing partner of the Campaign.
  3. 1.3. The Campaign will take place in Romania during the period 14th of May 2026 till 14th of August 2026 (GMT +3) (“Campaign Term”), and will be organized and run in the Bolt Mobility Platform & Bolt Food Platform. The Bolt Food app campaign is only valid in Bucharest.
  4. 1.4. The procedure of the Campaign is established in current Terms and Conditions and in the conditions specified in the promotional and additional materials of the Campaign, which are mandatory for all Participants.

  1. 2. Participation in the Campaign
  1. 2.1. The Campaign is open to all natural persons aged 18 or older (or who have full legal capacity under the laws of their country of citizenship).
  2. 2.2.
  3. 2.3. To take part, you must:
  1. 2.3.1. Have a registered Bolt Food account or Bolt Mobility account;
  2. 2.3.2. Choose Banca Transilvania as your payment method when paying for an order on Bolt Food Platform or for a ride on Bolt Mobility Platform  during the Campaign Term;
  3. 2.3.3. Follow these Terms and Conditions, Bolt’s General Terms (available here).
  4. 2.3.4. Campaign offer is available for users that existed as of Campaign start date or joined during the Campaign Term. For users who existed as of Campaign start date the discount shall apply only if such users have had finished rides in the past three (3) months, but have made zero (0) rides and/or zero (0) Bolt Food orders in the past three (3) months using the selected BIN cards, regardless of whether such selected BIN cards were used as a card payment method or through an external wallet.
  5. 2.3.5. Have a valid BIN Banca Transilvania card number. Discounts will be applied automatically if the Banca Transilvania card is used for payment without a need for the Participant’s additional input.   6. 2.3.6. The offer can be redeemed 1 (one) time during the Campaign Term.

  1. 3. Campaign offer
  1. 3.1.1. For Bolt Mobility Platform: 70% off on up to two rides per user, with a maximum discount of 13 RON  per ride and a total incentive cap of 26 RON per user across Bolt Mobility Platform. The discount may be redeemed only once per user (regardless of the number of payment cards added) and shall apply only to the user’s first two eligible rides. Campaign offer for rides is available in all cities where Bolt Mobility Platform is available during the Campaign Term.
  2. 3.1.2. Bolt Food Platform: 30% off the total order price, calculated before any other item-level or order-level discounts, capped at 26 RON per order, and applicable only to orders paid using the Banca Transilvania card. The discount shall apply only to the value of goods and shall exclude delivery fees and any other additional fees. Campaign offer for Bolt Food is available only in Bucharest.

  1. 4. Prohibited activities
  1. 4.1. The Participant will not engage in any fraudulent, unethical or unlawful activity, any activity which is not transparent to Bolt, or any activity that intentionally or unintentionally misuses or circumvents the Campaign.
  2. 4.2. The Participant will not provide false or misleading information to Bolt (incl. age, legal capacity etc.).

  1. 5. Campaign Management
  1. 5.1. By participating in the Campaign, the Participants confirm that they have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions of the Campaign.
  2. 5.2. Should circumstances of force majeure appear, Bolt shall have the right to discontinue the Campaign without prior notice or any consequences. If possible, Bolt shall provide notice of such discontinuation through Bolt’s website, in client communications, e-mails and/or social media channels.
  3. 5.3. Bolt reserves the right to suspend, amend, or terminate the Campaign at any time, with or without prior notice, including for technical, commercial, or legal reasons. Bolt shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from such suspension, amendment, or termination. Where required by law, Bolt will notify Participants of material changes through the Bolt app or official communication channels. 
  4. 5.4. Bolt shall not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, or failure to provide a discount due to technical issues, system errors, network outages, payment processing errors or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bolt’s total liability arising from or in connection with this Campaign shall not exceed the monetary value of the discount available to the Participant.
  5. 5.5. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Harju County Court, Estonia.

  1. 6. Privacy
  1. 6.1. The Organizer processes the personal data of the participants in the Campaign in accordance with the applicable legal provisions on the protection of personal data, including the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation no. 679/2016.
  2. 6.2. Bolt and Banca Transilvania will each process your personal data as independent data controllers. Each data controller is responsible for its own processing of personal data.
  3. 6.3. Bolt will only use your personal data to communicate with you about the Campaign through direct marketing and in-app notifications, in line with our privacy notices.   1. 7. Contact Organizer
  1. 7.1. All complaints, questions related to the organisation of the Campaign must be presented to Bolt by post at Bolt Operations OÜ, Vana-Lõuna tn 15, Tallinn, 10134 during the Term of the Campaign. Bolt will not process complaints regarding the Campaign which will be sent after the Term of the Campaign.
