When your account is activated, you are automatically registered for the Rider liability insurance cover. The insurance has been added to make sure that you and your riders are sufficiently covered in the event of an accident.

The insurance is free for Bolt drivers.

What does the insurance cover?

The policy covers only Bolt trips. If you do any private trips or operate on other ride-hailing platforms, you will need separate insurance to cover those rides.
