What is the Premium category?

Premium category is intended for passengers who want to receive increased comfort trips and service. Premium category trips are made by customers who want increased comfort cars and service, therefore during the trip you are invited to choose a neutral radio station, choose appropriate clothing and remember that not all customers want to have a conversation during the trip, sometimes all the customer wants is a quiet and comfortable trip. Please note: Your car must have a spacious interior and luggage compartment . Also, previous reviews and ratings from passengers must be at a very high level - we add drivers to the category only after manually evaluating these reviews and cars! ​ Requirements for a Premium category driver: - Well-groomed visual image; - Kind attitude towards the customer in any life situation; - The customer is always delivered to the chosen destination. Requirements for Premium category cars: - Well-kept leather interior; - Ample space in the rear passenger seats as well as legroom; - Space for customer luggage; - Pleasant aroma in the cabin. If you want to carry out transportation in this category: Send a photo of the car, both from the outside and the interior, and make sure that the car is clean and tidy. We will review the application and eligibility within 1-3 business days and provide an answer about the possibility of carrying out transportation in the Premium category with the vehicle you have applied for. After adding a category, you are encouraged to carry out transportation accordingly and keep the car clean and tidy. ​Here are simple principles that a driver must follow when making Premium category trips: - Always treat the customer and their requirements with respect. - Always arrive for your confirmed ride. Track your customer's pickup location in the app and don't keep them waiting too long. - Make sure that the car and its driver - you - are well-groomed and smell good. - Choose a neutral radio station. If a customer asks to change the radio station, be understanding. Repeated failure to comply with the basic principles significantly threatens the integrity of the Bolt platform, so you may receive a warning or be denied access to Premium category rides. Why are these rules important on the Bolt platform? We take into account the ratings that customers have recently left for drivers after their trips. We may also pay attention to complaints and feedback that Customer Support has received about a driver. If the customer reviews about a driver are low, the driver may receive a warning or be denied access to the Premium category. Be kind to your customers, respect their time, and take care of your car. This will help customers complete their transportation quickly and safely, so that you and other drivers can provide a pleasant service whenever needed. Here are the behaviors for which managers most often receive negative feedback from drivers: - The car is dirty or smoky; - Intolerance and rudeness. Do not shout at the customer or use foul language; - Sensitive topics such as politics and religion are best avoided; - Don't make the customer wait long. If you are stuck in a traffic jam, you are encouraged to inform the customer in a timely manner about what is happening. Always arrive on time for your order. Follow the scheduled arrival time and try not to keep the customer waiting too long. Communication is important in any situation in life. If you inform the client about your arrival time or delay, you can be sure that the client will meet you and not cancel the trip, indicating that you did not arrive. What happens if you don't follow the rules? We would love to limit access to the category, but it is our job to ensure the reliability of the services offered by the Bolt platform for every user. Malicious and repeated harmful behavior that affects the integrity of the platform may be grounds for disabling a category.

Starting from 01.08.2024 , all taxi cars ( cars with yellow license plates ) will operate only in the "Taxi" category. This means that these cars will only be able to receive calls in the "Taxi" category from now on, and no other categories will be available to them. What is the Taxi category? The "Taxi" category is designed for those passengers who value the benefits of taxis. It provides the opportunity to use public transport lanes, thus getting to their destination faster, and offers the convenience of paying in cash. This category is ideal for those looking for a fast, convenient and flexible way to get around the city. Key benefits for "Taxi" category drivers: - Making your daily life easier - the category will ensure that meters are adapted to the application and guarantee accurate and correct receipts after each trip. - With the new category, you won't have to worry about different coefficients - all trips will be subject to the "Bolt" 1.2x rate . - A more predictable and stable customer portfolio.

Taxi Comfort

Spacious car, comfortable ride. We have always appreciated and listened carefully to the opinions of our drivers. Thanks to your valuable feedback and suggestions, we have become convinced of the need to create an additional category for taxis (TQ, TX): “Taxi Comfort” . We really want you to know how much importance we attach to your well-being and working conditions! What is the “Taxi Comfort” category? This category was created to offer passengers an increased level of comfort and excellent service. The new category will not only improve the quality of services, but also increase the number of potential customers looking for higher quality taxi services. What does this mean for drivers? All taxi drivers whose cars (TQ, TX) currently have the “Comfort”, “Premium” and “XL” categories available will also have the opportunity to receive trips in the “Taxi Comfort” category. Additional information about campaigns: 1. Given that an additional category is being introduced for taxi drivers of the “Comfort”, “Premium” and “XL” categories, additional campaigns will not be created for these cars. Existing campaigns will continue to operate as before. 2. Taxis that currently only have the “Economy” category or the “Economy” + “Pets” categories available will no longer qualify for the car sticker campaign as of 01.08.2024.

Taxi Premium

We truly appreciate our partners' willingness to invest in the quality of service, which is why we have created an additional category for taxis - "Taxi Premium". The new category has been created to be able to offer passengers particularly high-quality service and amenities, while also being able to use public transport lanes, thus getting to their destination faster, and offering the convenience of making payments in cash. Please note: Not only the car model is taken into account, but also previous reviews and ratings from passengers - they must be of a very high level - we add drivers to the category only after a manual and thorough evaluation of the reviews and cars! If your car meets the requirements of the “Taxi Premium” category, send pictures of your car’s body and interior to latvia-driver@bolt-drivers.com so that we can evaluate assigning the category specifically to your car.

What is the “Women for women” category?

The "Women for Women" category allows female passengers to book a ride on the app that can only be accepted by a female driver. This category is ideal for passengers who prefer to see a female driver behind the wheel of their car. This functionality also works the other way around - there are female drivers who prefer to provide passenger transportation only to female passengers. Key benefits for "Women for women" category leaders: - An additional sense of security for both drivers and passengers. - A more predictable and stable customer base. - An opportunity for new drivers to feel even safer when starting transportation on the Bolt platform. Since any verified passenger (regardless of gender) can place an order in this category, please feel free to cancel the trip if you still don't feel comfortable completing it after arriving at the passenger's location. Cancellation will not affect your activity statistics in any way. However, we urge you to objectively evaluate situations where trips may be ordered by men or a female passenger is traveling with a man/men and, if possible, not to cancel the trips!

Now a new feature is available in your city - reserved rides . This is a special service for customers, with the help of which you will be able to earn even higher income. Here are the benefits you get: - Higher income with higher travel prices; - You can accept an order up to three days before it is due to be made. You will see all the information about the trip, the passenger, and the price. This will help you decide whether to accept the trip; - The price of the trip takes into account increased demand (which is expected at the start of the trip), and the price is confirmed as final at the moment when you commit to placing the order; - You know the start time and approximate start address of your trip, and this helps you plan your online time. Accepting a booked ride is easy: - Before going online, click on the “Newly booked trips” banner on the main screen or click on “Inbox” and “Booking requests”; - Choose the reservation(s) that suits you and confirm; - The booked trips that you have confirmed are visible in "Inbox" > "Booking requests" > "Accepted". You will see the confirmed fixed price, time, as well as the time you need to be online; - As your booked ride gets closer to its start time, we'll send you reminders to get to your starting address so you can arrive at your starting address 10 minutes before your ride's start time.
