Bolt Categories
In order to ensure a safe and reliable platform and to maintain an appropriate standard, we expect our partners to observe the following points:
- Your vehicle registration document (Fahrzeugausweis/Permis de circulation/Licenza di circolazione) should contain the mention "Berufsmässiger Personentransport" or “Transport professionnel de personnes” or “Trasporto professionale di persone”
- If your car is registered in the canton of Zurich, your vehicle needs a Limousine sticker provided by the cantonal “Amt für Mobilität”. The sticker needs to be clearly and permanently visible on the front window of your car.
- Your car can not be older than 20 years

Electric
- Maximum vehicle age: 10 years
- Minimum seats: 4 (excluding the driver)
- Vehicle type: Sedan, Station wagon, SUV
- Fully electric (hybrids are not accepted)
- Good vehicle condition

Premium
- Maximum vehicle age: 8 years
- Minimum seats: 4 (excluding the driver)
- Vehicle must be a higher-end model
- Vehicle type: Sedan, station wagon, or SUV
- Perfect vehicle condition

- Maximum vehicle age: 20 years
- Minimum seats: 4 (excluding the driver)
- Good vehicle condition
Comfort
- Maximum vehicle age: 10 years
- Minimum seats: 4 (excluding the driver)
- Vehicle type: Sedan, station wagon, SUV, electric minivan
- Excellent vehicle condition

XL
- Maximum vehicle age: 20 years
- Minimum seats: 5 (excluding the driver)
- Example models: Sedan, compact minivan
- Good vehicle condition
Van
- Maximum vehicle age: 10 years
- Minimum seats: 6 (excluding the driver)
- Vehicle type: Luxury Van
- Excellent vehicle condition

Pet
- Maximum vehicle age: 20 years
- Minimum seats: 4 (excluding the driver)
- If this category is set to active in the driver app, you must accept pets in your car
- To have this category active, please fill in the following Form
Child Seat
- Maximum vehicle age: 20 years
- Minimum seats: 4 (excluding the driver)
- Vehicle must have a booster seat for children
- To have this category active, please fill in the following form
Taxi
- Maximum vehicle age: 20 years -Minimum seats: 4 (excluding the driver) -Taxi Permit for your vehicle as well as for the driver must be submitted
Women for Women
- Maximum vehicle age: 20 years
- Minimum seats: 4 (excluding the driver)
- Female partner driver
