Riders with service animals
Service animals are permitted to accompany riders at all times without extra charge. Please note that refusing to allow an assistance animal into your vehicle might lead to your account being blocked.
If you need to cancel or refuse to carry out a ride for medical reasons, e.g., allergies, please explain why to the rider. You will not be penalised in such a case.
Note: It is illegal to ask for any documentation about the pet being a service animal.
Riders with pets
Pet category
Riders may bring one animal, such as a dog, a cat or any other animal classed as a domestic pet. There are no restrictions on size or breed, but riders are advised to contact the driver in case their animal is exceptionally big or exotic.
Note: If a rider wants to take a pet animal along for their regular Bolt trip, you can decide whether or not you wish to complete such a trip. You may refuse to carry a pet animal on board of your vehicle. If you need to reject such a ride, kindly let the rider know why.
