You may receive orders outside of your selected radius if there are no available drivers closer to the rider's pickup location. These are called optional orders.
How to identify an optional order: A banner is displayed on your acceptance screen when an order is outside your set radius.
Will declining affect my acceptance rate or bonus eligibility? No — declining or ignoring an optional order does not affect your acceptance rate, driver score, or bonus campaign eligibility.
What if I accept an optional order and then cancel? Once you accept an optional order it is treated as a normal order. Cancelling after accepting will affect your acceptance rate.
How do I adjust my pickup radius? Tap the Preferences icon on the right side of your screen and select Pick-up distance. Note that your city or country may have a minimum radius — you cannot go below it.
Why do I still receive far-away orders after reducing my radius? You may still occasionally receive optional orders outside your set radius when no closer drivers are available. These do not affect your metrics if you decline them.
