Boltholes: share your favourite spots with us

We’re all probably dreaming of escaping the city right now, but what if the perfect getaway was on your doorstep? Now that the staycation is the new vacation, it’s the perfect time to explore your local area. 

Did you know that London itself boasts 3,000 parks and contains 40% green space? The city has many hidden gems, oases of calm and spectacular views to escape to for the day.

From a national perspective, Great Britain has a total of 9,276 parks and gardens covering all urban areas. This means that no matter where you live, the perfect bolthole (or as the dictionary defines it: “ a place where a person can escape and hide”) can be found nearby.

Share your favourite hidden oasis

We want to celebrate the most beautiful and peaceful locations across the country. Share a picture of your favourite hidden gem or bolthole on our Instagram page and you could win £250 of Bolt ride credit. We’ll randomly select 4 lucky winners so that you can escape to your favourite places with Bolt. 

How to participate:

1. Go to our Instagram page & follow @bolt_uk;
2. Get outside and take a picture of your favourite nearby bolthole;
3. Tag @bolt_uk, use the hashtag #Boltholes, and post it to your Instagram story;
4. Don’t forget to make your profile public so that we can accept your entry.
